Okay what were wondering here Tmac is why your sweet 3rd gen is on the 2.5 gen posting we already know F5’s, Gen5s and every other SCS wheel are interchangeable with Tacomas, 4Runners and 3rd G Tundras AND y’all 3rd Gen’ers can slap 37s on your trucks with simple mods…

F5’s are my fav SCS wheels to date though the blaze 10s and BR6 are a close second the Gen5 is super nice as well. I was thrilled when I saw SCS put these F5’s out for the 2.5 gen Tundra and didn’t hesitate to buy a set immediately and threw all the other contenders out the window.

I’ve been eyeing the Ray10s for a while and now seeing these F5s I am unsure which I want. @SCSPerformance y’all definitely have the BEST looking wheels on the market.

When you painted the rear hubs, what paint did you use, and did you remove the wheel or just tape it off? I need to do this.

I removed my wheels and taped everything off not to get any paint on the lugs brakes etc. I did gloss black with the primer in it. I forget the name. Hope this helps.

It does, thank you! Did you also paint the grease caps up front to match? Or did you leave them alone?

I didn’t paint the hubs. Are you meaning the brake calipers?

Those are perfect if you have the 6 lug. I'm a gen 2.5 with a 5 lug pattern and the bore size is different so unfortunately they won't fit. Appreciate the find though, hope that helps someone else on here looking for a solution. I searched for a 5 lug fit (again, more about the bore size than the number of lugs) and no go. Paint FTW!

I was walking back to my truck from the grocery store yesterday and I heard a female voice say “nice truck”. I looked back and they were talking to me. Felt good. :bananadance:

    Its gotta be the rims

This is such an absolutely gorgeous truck. I may have Tundra envy. =)

I noticed you got rid of the red TRD lettering on the side of bed (assuming yours came with red?). Where did you find the gray? I'd also like to remove my red stuff. I checked etsy but didn't find the raised vinyl - only the 2D stuff (which may be ok but I wouldn't know until I laid eyes on it!). Let me know if you have a recommendation.

Thank you Amy!! Maybe you got mine mixed up with the red TRD on the side. I did not have any till I added the matte black from TufSkinZ. Not hard to remove decals with just a little piece of fishing line and a heat gun. And some adhesive remover.

I’m running 295/70r18 on stock height, Limited TRD. Removed the front mud flaps because of a little rubbing. 35’s should fit no problem.
