Anyone else having issues closing their hood? I literally have to slam it to lock it down. Dealer said it's normal so I checked 3 other tundras and they all closed with a little pressure. I adjusted the bump stops with no results. I've had numerous 4Runners and Tundras and never had this issue.

I have the same problem. I have to slam it real hard for it to latch. I was planning on telling service at my first appointment.

After I read your post I went out and opened and closed my hood. Gotta hammer that thing down to latch it. Other thing I found odd is when open.....it doesnt open as much as a conventional hood

    Lots of stuff!
I noticed that the hood didn't open up very high so it would be hard to reach the back of the motor. I guess that's why the body is removed to change the spark plugs! ;)
