Got a major mystery. When driving my 02 SR5 4wd RC 4.7. I had noise like the front driver side brake was dragging, even worse I got something like “ bump steer” on bumps. In one particular spot the approach to a bridge was so rough when the suspension cycled the wheel would lock up and chirp like when one locks up brakes. I jacked up front and sure enough the driver side was dragging. So I put a new caliper on there, plus SS brake hoses both sides. Well, I STILL GET the same wheel chirp and trying to jerk steering wheel outta my hands when I hit that spot in road. Buddy said it might be wheel bearing. That makes no sense. Anyone got any suggestions or had this happen? Thanks.

Have you jacked up the wheel and tested for play?
