They moved packages around

About a month ago I was trying to build a limited 6.5 with some options. At the time you could not get the Tow mirrors with the Limited power package. Now I was just on Toyotas site and it looks like they have moved the packages around which I like as you can hand pick a few more packages together now. One thing I’m confused on is this Limited PVM Package. If you select it you can’t add the TRD package as well in any color. I currently have the Tow mirrors with the PVM/BSM option selected. If I don’t get the PVM Limited package will I miss out on the 360 cameras?

 

At least they finally allow multiple package selection. It was nuts the website would exclude package combinations that were being produced. Based on Toyo thinking that was effective product advertisement I would not trust their website as gospel on option combinations.

 

I believe the limited comes standard with 360 view

 

PVM package is nice in tight spots but if you plan on getting a topper you might have to relocate or delete the cams integrated into the third brake light. I personally like them even though their resolution isn't the best but I think with the TRD OR models you get MTM which can give you stuff like tire projection if you want.

 

I wish, I traded my 23 Limited because it didn't have it.

 

Wow, sorry to hear that. Spend that much money on a truck and they still nickel and dime for "luxury"
Maybe one day they'll make it a standard safety feature like the back-up camera.

 

My limited came standard with the pvm package.

 

PVM is not a standard package. I have a well equipped Limited HV but does not have PVM unfortunately…

 

It has a back up camera but not the others…

 

I just picked up my Limited Crew max 6.5 bed yesterday… It took me awhile to get exactly what I wanted figured out. Like you I wanted the PVM system but when you added the OF package you couldn’t get it, then I found out that when you get the OF package the PVM cameras are part of that package that’s why you can’t add it because it’s already there…

That said, not sure what area you are in but finding a Limited Crew Max 6.5 can be challenging. I live in the SF Bay Area in Cali and I had a deposit down for 8 months and couldn’t get that configuration so I got my deposit back and found one in Oregon in less than a week and I picked it up 3 weeks later…

Another thing for that truck configuration you might find it difficult to get the Power Package unless you are willing to wait til one comes along with it. I was going to get the premium package for the headlights and digital rear view but I was having a hard time finding that with the OF and JBL that I wanted so I decided I didn’t need it and just got the OF and JBL.

Amazing how things change, even within Cali. I found exactly what I was looking for 2 weeks into my search. 2wd Platinum in Celestial Silver with 6.5 bed and power running boards. Haven't seen that combination since then, let alone what I am looking to trade into...same truck but 4wd hybrid

 

my local dealer is still doing 10k markups on Pros and 2-4k on Capstones. Thats on top of "dealer installed options". A Pro ends up being 82-83k + TTL
