    Hey guys my emergency brake light on the dash has been going on and off. I looked underneath and found this.

    (06’ tundra crew cab)

    can this just be tightened? This is my first tundra.

    Yes, rotate the assembly around the thread to tighten or loosen.

    More likely to be a little low on fluid causing the light to come on.

    Or improperly set. If it's not the fluid, I wonder if OP has simply set and released the e-brake several times back-to-back?

    Just wanted to report back and say it was low on fluid. Brought fluid to the proper level and light went off.

    Great! Now think about why it might be low on fluid. Best case - your pads/brake shoes are worn down to nearly nothing. Worst case - you have a leak.
