Got these back in January and since have out about 7k on them. After about 2 weeks of ownership I washed my truck and the new tires and methods 705 with Method’s wheel cleaner. I also used a brush to help clean the white letters so they would show up better against the black rubber. What the heck is all this white over spray? Anyone have this problem?

Do you use any type of spray on tire shine?

Maybe the wheel cleaner didn’t get along with the white letters on the tires. Could try cleaning them with this stuff, it works well for tire sidewalls.

That sucks. What sucks even more is that I was just looking at those very same tires and it said they were only black letters.
    I want white letters.
    I'm looking at 255/70-18.
Are white letters only available on certain sizes?

As for the white smear, my theory is that the wheel cleaner ate into it. I would try using the wheel cleaner on a brush or rag to try removing it from the tire. If it eats at the white, it might eat it off the tire. Just don't get more on the letters.

Yeah if you check it’s only in certain size. I don’t believe the cleaner smeared it. If you look again the white is only in the area where the letters are. If smear why isn’t it all over the place and running. It’s evenly marking a certain area.

Hmm, not sure. That was all I could think of.
If it wasn't the cleaner eating at the white and smearing it, I'm not sure what would cause that. Definitely weird.
