2007 Tunda Crewmax

Thank God it wasn't my Tundra, but the wife took her car through car wash and now has a fairly good sized scratch running vertically on her windshield. It is not deep and can be polished out. After watching y/t videos there are some options for repair, but I was wondering what you guys do for repair. I'm looking at a number of different compounds to use but is there one that stands out as especially good for glass? Any help would be appreciated,
