Hi all! Im new to the site so I apologize if this has been discussed. I was on a road trip back from Tucson last week in my 2020 Platinum. It was hot but not crazy, maybe 100. We stopped at a rest area and it would not start. It would crank good but would not turn over. I even attached by battery starter and it did not help. After about an hour and a half it just started and has not failed to start before or after that. It seemed like a fuel pump or system issue. It never gave any codes or dash lights.
    Does anyone have ideas?

    Thanks!!!

Is your truck a flex fuel truck or were you parked on an incline?

Push button start, or key start? If key, was the key left in the ignition during your break at the rest stop?

It is a push button start, flex fuel (only use premium) and no incline. I locked it up for 10 minutes or so. Then no restart.

Could be the flex fuel computer issue. It falsely reads a high ethanol level in the fuel which changed the fuel mapping. There’s a tsb concerning that issue.

Oh snap, sounds complicated. Thank you, I will do some research. Mileage is just 31,000 but out of warranty. I purchased in November of 2019.

I had similar issue(s) last summer... Got it to the dealer within the 3yr/36K warranty, and they replaced the fuel pump, no charge. Seems to have solved the issue. There was a batch of Denso Fuel pumps that seemed to be the problem. Do a search here.. I think there was even a class action lawsuit.

Was flex fuel an option on the 2020's?
