Make no mistake a Tundra is nothing compared to a new 3/4 ton with 1000ft-lbs of torque......... I pulled a 5500lb boat to FLA. One in my Tundra one in a F250. No doubt I felt in in the Tundra. Felt zero in F250. Tundra would downshift up small hills, into head winds etc. The F250 didn't care how or where I was driving.

Bullbar and side bars by Tyger
Thanks once again everyone, all great information and very uplifting. So many options to take "or not" but speaking of which, I'm considering the Andersen Hitch No-sway distribution hitch. It comes with a pair of chain links instead of bars, but it's rated pretty high and it's a lot lighter than most WDH with bars. Has great reviews on this forum too...
