Got in at 0300 Monday. Monday was a wash so Tuesday pulled the rear apart. Assembled by Friday but I didn’t add oil until today, per cure time. Not a bad turnaround for a full rear rebuild.

We need to do Tundras to Tennessee so you can check out my state. Driving across the country builds character. We did 30 miles today. Off roading on two wheels is a lot more fun than 4.

 

i wanna do tn & nc again. Gotta find a babysitter or sidecar for polo. Bringing the buell home from PA, i stopped to rest in a tiny church parking lot while it rained & they brought me in, fed me, let me shower. Wouldnt take my money... those days are few & far between. It was north of i40 between cookeville and nashville. Pastor had a whole 3 room church in his front yard.

 

Last time I tried to enter a church, I was asked to leave when somebody noticed the holy water had started to boil over

its all fun & games if you're living out of your truck, but if you have to set up camp...its a PITA moving every night. I wanna go somewhere more comfortable than home and just chill in the woods for a week like a fugitive. Hell, i've got half a copper still, sit out there on a river and cook moonshine.

 

I'm more of a 3-days here, 3-days there kinda guy. Lets you keep moving, but not so much work. Also lets you come up for air in between, grab a shower, and feel human in between camps. Works well with international travel too.

 

You saw how we roll, im on the same page until I get a cute little trailer built or fantasized. If it was just me and one boy, I could sorta do it(done it before) but would definitely need to get a better system down pat
