my 07 tundra with 5.7 engine starts and then dies immediately. Did this 4/5 times. I waited about 20 minutes and then tried again and it runs correctly. Truck has 134K miles. Any ideas?

Have your battery tested... if its old maybe its time to change it out. Also ensure your terminals are clean and super tight.

check ^ above. If that checks out or you replace battery and issue is still present, check for fuel- fuel pump and relay/ECU. Check condition of spark plugs, air filter, clean maf.

May want to check and clean MAF first, as an issue there will cause exact issue you describe.

Also, happen to have remote start on your truck? They will do the same thing when the unit starts going out.

Do you have a aftermarket intake? if so, remove, clean maf and see if the issue is present with the stock air box.

Something similar happened to me as well. Turned out to be key immobilizer. Check of your blinking security key light in the middle dash goes off or not.
