Toyota brand Oil/Filter?

Is Toyota brand oil/filter really any different or better than standard brands? What does the dealer use when in for service?

Toyota Oil Filters are all made by Denso's OEM division (except for the filters for the new supra, and some other models that share engines with other MFGs). I believe Mobil makes the Toyota Branded oil.

The dealership I work at purchases bulk oil from a standard oil distributor. We purchase Mobil.

 

Thanks, Is is true that they have a "check valve" that is unique to Toyota brand?

There's a vid floating around where a dude bought, and cut open a bunch of oil filters for our truck.
That sold me on the Toyota brand.
