I didn’t realize you had to twist the top hat but I guess that makes for proper orientation.
From past experience with other suspension you will need to compress the coil to get top hat to spin.

Spinning the top is not necessary on the older, metal style. I suppose that is why they state this version is not compatible with the AVS suspension.

So per the directions on the new composite RC spacers, I see no mention of trimming studs. It definitely mentions having to compress the coilover and spin the top hat to align correctly. I've got AVS, so we'll see if this is compatible (RC Says it's not). Disconnecting the AVS and adjusting the top hat shouldn't be an issue since it's also required for the Wescott 3/1 lift. I plan to tackle this tomorrow and will report back.

I just received the RC 2" level struts, along with a cornfed 1" rear spacer. I'll be putting them on soon, and share the results. I'm going to do the coilovers first, take measurements and then decide on the spacer. Sadly, I want to keep about an inch of rake because I tow.

Fits perfectly with AVS. I did NOT have to compress the spring or rotate the top hat for correct alignment. 20221104_145950.jpg

I also ordered this for my platinum but mine is diferent its all metal kit. I asked RC if this will work wit AVS they say no as they tried installing one and it didn't work, can you report back on how it rides with this lift kit?

OK... From a fitment standpoint, the spacer appears to work.

I spoke too soon regarding top hat adjustment... It will need to spin about 1/4" in order to align the shock back into the lower control arm. My issue is I don't have beefy enough spring compressors to get the job done at the moment. I'll post back as soon as my lower back recovers from today's shit fest.

On a positive note- the new wheels/tires are on with no rubbing, plenty of room!

Did any warning lights came on after unplugging AVS suspension?

Perfect set up in my opinion. I do need some mud guards now. 90688D48-C0B5-4199-91BF-BC7C4D1B24D4.jpg

upload_2022-11-19_20-9-6.jpginstalled RC level kit on my platinum. Didn't need to cut studs, also added 1"spacers from Bora,upload_2022-11-19_20-12-47.jpgupload_2022-11-19_20-13-40.jpgupload_2022-11-19_20-14-16.jpg

Sorry just seeing this...I think the 1" up front is great for me - still slight rake but evened it out quite nicely. My personal decision process was if I didn't like the 1" cornfed up front, I was going to replace with 0-2" adjustable coilovers up front.

When I was researching the RC 1.75" option, I had noticed that some customer examples showed front was higher than back, and I didn't want to take that chance. Others I see, and they are level...

I put in the RC 1.75 and the bow is .5” higher than the stern. I do have a Leer 180 cap on the box and that won’t help. Putting a Cornfed 1” rear spacer in this week. I put 295/70/18 on stock rims with zero rubbing.

Fort those adding the rear spacer, are you adding longer brake lines?

A 1” spacer does not need longer brake lines.

RC tundra 1.75 kit on the front left my front .5in taller than the rear. Just installed air lift on the rear and with 5 psi in the bags I’m level. I’m happy with this setup.
