Stopped by Dyno Comp this afternoon and got a copy of my dyno sheets from last week. These were from runs #7 and #11. Run #11 was the final one.

 

They had posted an acceleration video of that truck from the drivers seat. Watching the speedo it looks noticeably slower than mine over the same speed range.

I saw on the mod list that PS has a Tundra/GM transmission adapter kit now...very interesting

 

What transmission would be yhe choice through GM? The 10spd?

 

4L80, regressing back to 4 speeds lol.

 

I was just happy to see more options, not necessarily the 4L80, but thinking of different options for AWD as well. I would prefer a trans with more speeds for launch control benefits.

Oh look custom manifold and rear mounted turbo.

The Arab speed demons are using that transmission on their 1500HP build.

 

Built an AN6 hose, got 99% of the fittings & installed it (missing an 8AN to 6AN fitting coming tomorrow) moved the block off to the outside, and the feed to the back.

I'm chicken & ordered a prefab hose.

 

Looks great!!

 

Installed the fittings to finish the install of the 6AN hose, it looks pretty good, I might install the prefab line I ordered when it comes Monday for peace of mind.

 

Uploaded another tune from PS to allow me to pull our trailer in S4 and decided to get an exhaust vid while in the shop this morning. I think the trd cat back is the best oem sound ever.

Sounds so good. So is that all hollowed cats? And how loud was it towing the TT? Mine sounds significantly louder under load towing even with all the cats in place is why I’m wondering. I love every second of it though, it’s not annoying loud or raspy.

Yes sir cats are hallowed and it's probably twice as loud as it was with the cats. I personally love the low tone rumble! Regarding towing.. there's noticeably more drone and the smell is definitely there

 

When I got my Lexus ECU flashed for my 2JZ that was one of the options "snap, crackle, and pop?" And I'm like yeaaa pass. Which I can't imagine how retarded that would be, because it still sometimes pops when shifting quick at red line.

For most of those Burble and Pop tunes it will say in parenthesis that removal of cats is required. And I wonder how many people actually do that.

 

Yesterday at a solid 1/4 tank I had the left turn hard acceleration fuel starvation deal. I'm wondering what was the point of the Radium Venturi Jet & multiple holes in the basket?

The venturi is allowing more fuel in, but the holes are allowing it to drain back out. Most people add the holes to allow more fuel in, but then are limited by how low they can run the tank before they run into possible starvation issues.

This is why I bought a new basket and modified with check ball valves to allow more fuel in and prevent fuel escaping.

 

Considering the mods alone cost that much you are getting a free truck.

 

Details on the check ball valves I made:

1/2 in hole in the basket for each valve
Each valve is made of one end of a PTFE fuel tube
--one 3/8" solid PTFE ball (fits loosely in tube, too large to pass through ribbed section of tube)
--two 5/16 holes for fuel flow (fuel flows around ball as well as through holes when pumps are on)
--one 1.5mm hole for 1.6mmx11mm split pin to prevent the ball from coming out
--secured with -4AN viton washers over the PTFE fuel tube to keep it more secure in the basket

 

Unless I have to my tank is never coming out again. I was just surprised it was at a full 1/4. I'll fill it up today.
