Well I just got the oil, coolant, grease, etc. done and ready to roll across country (well almost). Drove over 1300 miles from Arizona and in a resort in Northern Arkansas then head to Missouri to meet with family. Then it will be back to Arizona with a stop at a resort in Colorado.

Once back home I will get on the 37” tires…

Perfect! I wasn’t sure where mine would sit, so I’m happy to see this. Thanks for sharing.

I just got wheels in +40 and am looking at 285s. Might go for fender flares too.

Drove it for a few hundred miles for a trip. Cruise Control randomly stopped working, giving me an error message. Took playing with it for about 5 min or so to get it working again.

Tail gate made noise but wouldn't lock or unlock via fob (using mechanical key worked), fob method worked a few hrs later when I tried it again.

32k miles. Light use. Kinda annoyed me to have both those things act up during my trip.

    Oh well.

It might of been. Was the only thing I could think of. I sprayed down the truck before my return trip, but maybe I got one good splat. I didn't remember to check since it started working again later in the drive.

I got the tent mounted last night with a few minutes of help from the wife.

Using the Front Runner Quick Release brackets, really like em.

Nice wheel and tire setup! I love my Toyo Open Country AT3s…they have outperformed every other tires I’ve had in the past.

Had to install a new AC line since the bypass hoop decided to eat it. Wrapped the new line in rubber hose and re routed it. Gotta make sure the old lady has AC or I’m in trouble.

Week before last I pulled the trigger with RCI during their sale and bought the engine and tranny skids with the free “cat guards”, fuel tank skid and straps, diff skid, and LCA skids. Now the wait. In the meantime, RCI didn’t have rear shock skids, so I bought a set from another company. Very quick install, like 30 minutes for both, and that’s sayin’ sumpn’ because I’m slower than molasses on a snail’s back who’s hitchin’ a ride on a tortoise!

Gave in to the paranoia and ordered the tranny skid with cat guards from RCI a few weeks ago during their sale. Finally arrived yesterday and installed them tonight.

Even though I live in a low risk area I do travel quite a bit so at least I have a little peace of mind now.

Bought my first truck, 2014 SR5 DoubleCab last week with the intention of turning it into a camping truck. Today I put in Husky front floor mats, Weathertech bed/tailgate liner, a tailgate rock guard, and weatherstripping to seal around the tailgate. Also used some silicone sealant to seal up the corners of the bed where water can ingress.IMG_2926.jpgIMG_2983.jpg

Installed new trailer hitch today. The B&W tow and stow. Seems very heavy duty and really like it so far.

get to use it this weekend
