Going on three weeks and 800 miles on my new hybrid. Still trying to learn all the bells and whistles on my Platinum.

Will the charge indicator ever show a fully charged battery? The best it has been is approximately 80%.

Only on a long downhill stretch. In general batteries don't like to operate fully charged or fully depleted so the normal charge logic keeps it in the 20-80% range.
