I took the bed off and it didn't seem to be any suspension damage

 

Maybe you'll get lucky and not have any frame damage

 

This sucks to hear.
It’s probably my biggest fear when out driving in traffic

 

Yeah, it sucks anytime, but in this market it is really going to suck.

 

@BillyB Did the shop mention why they couldn't pull the frame straight? I just spoke with another shop who thinks there's definitely going to be frame damage on mine, but they don't know of any shops around with a frame puller large enough for our trucks. I'm trying to see if they can just do a measurement to see if it's off, and if that would total out the truck

 

I don't know. I'm assuming the insurance companies may not want the liability of straighting frames and would rather the vehicle totaled out. They could put new frames on, but maybe there is a supply issue. Of course, these are just my assumptions.

 

Ya, kinda figured. Shop told me they couldn't even measure the frame because it won't fit on the rack lol. Also every shop seems to say State Farm is the WORST.

 

OP hope you are going to pull all your mods off and sell them or save them for your next tundra. Insurance never gives you squat for mods unless you were paying for additional coverage.

I'm planning on going in a couple days to pull the armor. All will go on the replacement truck.
I do have additional coverage, so that will cover the suspension and part of the tires. Of course, labor charges I will have to eat.
Also, interest rates are not as low as they were two years ago, either. So, all around it's just a crappy situation.
I don't get attached to vehicles, so it is what it is, but I hate losing money, especially when it's not my fault. And this whole ordeal will cost me.

 

Yeah, we'll see. I told them I won't settle until I get parts off.
