I'm surprised people don't talk about Fit and Finish

I've driven all the 1/2 tons in the past couple of weeks. The first thing that I notice on the Tundra is the panel fit and quality of interior materials. The switch gear feels good. All the surfaces are vastly improved. The torque off the bottom is strong and the gear ratios are well matched. The Gen 3 is a very nice place to be regardless of trim level.

In all the trolling it gets lost that this is a very nice piece of gear.

I have a loaded SR5. The fit and finish on it inside and out is quite good. I was looking at another Ram Laramie. The Ram had dropped Laramie materials from my 2015 to ransom another 10k for a higher trims. The SR5 felt higher quality inside than the Ram which was cheap.

A lot of posters here have higher trims. Not sure if the higher price raises standards or if the higher trims may have more unique trim parts that were not well designed. I don't see many SR5 posters to provide enough Intel to determine

    I just traded a 2018 f150, night and day!
Shifting is always in the right gear vs Ford was always as high as possible 7 or 8th gear doing 30 mph!20230414_181817.jpg

Agree with you, better quality and fit and finish than ford anyway, we just got a 23 plat but looked seriously at a 23 f150, it was cheap feeling compared to the yota.

When tested the ford I thought the build quality was pretty good as far as fit and finish.

Like I’ve said before it crapped out on the test drive so it was out.

I only saw my new rig in the dealer for a few mins before it was sent out for mods but the fit and finish looked pretty darn good, paint was good , gaps were damn good
