Really tough to beat the Talon’s Garage product when you factor in price, fast shipping, and they use a good design with 1/4” aluminum.

So you are aware. I installed the Talon's Garage front and rear plates. Certainly easy to install but they work better as skid plates and not cat protectors. After installing mine, I was concerned about the amount of free space there was between the plate and the floor board. I could fit both arms and any power tool I wanted to cut and remove the cats. Contacted Talon's via email and v-mail a couple of times and never received a return call. So I designed and had fabricated my own solution. Feel a little better about cat protection now. Update: Just saw a reply to me from Talon's, on another post, that they do and can make a return plate if anyone is interested. Your choice, although I do not know what it looks like, but I would certainly consider it.

you should put a razor edge on the top of that extension lol. You can have those effers DNA to give to the cops lol

 

FYI if you have a 4x4 OP the cat plates provide alot more protection with the transfer case in the way.

 

Good to know for those with a four wheel drive. Mine is a two wheel. A razor edge would certainly make a substantial theft deterrent. I just hope it doesn't piss them off and they do more damage to the truck!
