We just had our first shower since Wednesday. It was amazing. Now I need to clean up my truck. I was not prepared for the dust out there.

I had an absolute blast out there, and will be one of the first in line to sign up next year. I'll be sure to bring more blueberry vodka, sweet tea, and whataburger cups! Oh yeah, and fuck ABQ. Those are about some no driving ass mofos. Crack heads everywhere. I just wanted some Del Taco, not 5 close calls. Never again.

Hahah everyone from the trip has bitched and moaned about that portion of the freeway south, it is a mother for sure. I watched a car drive in the freshly paved breakdown lane/shoulder for most of the shitty section of it.

 

While I didn't make it up there this year due to piss poor planning on my part, I wasn't looking forward to that stretch of road either way. Plus the freeway closures this weekend seemed to be aimed squarely at us wanting to head north from the east valley. A real PIA for sure.

 

That section of I-17 was awful. I couldn't imagine pulling a trailer through it. Glad you're ok @Azblue
