    For anyone interested:

I prefer to use my iPad as primary screen, data, infotainment, etc for my vehicles.

iPad magnetically mounted over infotainment screen. Goes on and off easily. Black-painted metal plates on trim for magnets to adhere to - blend into the dash. Magnets are neodymium, 3M-glued to iPad Lifeproof case. Super strong!

    Pros:

Imminently adaptable; easily removable; transferable between vehicles; do business while in vehicle and seamlessly transition to worksite; on and off-road map apps are more intuitive, ergonomical; automatically ties into truck via Carplay; faster and more versatile than Tundra infotainment system.

    Cons:

bUt WhAt AbOuT tHe CaMeRaS? iPad comes off in split second. (Personally, I rarely utilize the cameras. Old habits.)

If you don't use a tablet for work/life/travel, probably don't go with this mod? If you do use one, this is terrific. I've got similar mounts in other vehicles, and whichever I drive I simply take my iPad with me and all my data, notes, drawings (construction), bids, emails, plans, maps, routes, so much more is right there.

Hence, I love the convenience of a GPS/cell-enabled tablet in my vehicle for workspace, for traveling, navigating, entertainment, overlanding, communicating, and more!
