Finally got the ride I've always wanted, tundra crewmax. Now I've got questions. Bought my TRD used. Does the truck sit higher with the TRD package vs the non-TRD package? It certainly looks like it compared to others I've seen on the road.

    Thanks!

    Welcome to the forum Randy,

If I remember correctly, the TRD package on mine was made up of mostly just Bilstein shocks, skid plates and 18" upgraded wheels. I don't believe my ride height was any higher than non-TRD'd Tundras unless the tires were alittle bigger.

    I have a '14 TRD and I don't believe it sits higher.

That's just the feeling you get when you drive any Tundra.

    Congrats on the sick rig!

@r4z0r51o Right on point. I have just purchased a new to me 2014 TRD offroad tundo in march and that is what the dealer told me was the difference. I figured give credit where it's deserved.

Isn't the TRD PRO leveled? That would be the only difference i've read about related to ride height...

I believe stock Tundras come with 255/65/18 vs the trd which is 275/65/18. Maybe it's the smaller tires that make it feel like it is sitting lower?
