Is there a setting anywhere to enable delayed locking? My last truck (GM) had it and I used it all the time.

Scenario- I park the truck, get out, and shut the door. My wife takes forever to get out and close her door. I have to wait for her before I hit the lock "button" on the outside handle. If I don't wait for her to close her door I get a long beep and no locking. My old truck you could hit lock then 30 seconds after the last door closed it would lock.

I know exactly what you’re saying. My wife does that all the time. My old Tundra you had to wait to she was out and doors were closed. Now I get out and close my door and hit lock on fob, once she gets out and closes door it will beep and lock. The trick is her door has to at least be open then when she closes it then it will lock

Good to know. I’ll try the fob advice next time. The time it takes between me waiting for my wife to get out and before being able to press the button I’m usually stretching to be ready for the shopping that’s about to happen
