I put rough country 1.75 leveling kit
Then I installed Dobson 3” rear springs (heavy Travel trailer squatting truck)
I then put 35x12.5 Nitto trail grapplers for rubber .
The factory mud flaps were all getting loose and falling off I removed them . They looked odd any way .
both of my tail lights have been hit by rocks on the inside of light cause if moisture damage and failure .
Dealer wants 1000$ for each light .
    Any recommendations out there ?
Desperately need tailight but do not want to pay 2000 on lights .
Bottom 18” of truck also had bedliner installed as paint was not holding up like my last x3 Toyotas . Also had to replace 4x4 switch - dealer says coffee caused damage 43529AA6-D2A8-4478-9325-4D5AF4CA8B32.jpg

I had a Toyota trifold tonneau cover that came with truck also it flew off on the highway and I now has bent front corners .
I like my 2022 tundra sport but after all the good tundras I’ve owned this one has had its problems

2"CB shackles, bushings and 1 shim, lockerdown console vault, rear folding seat back mod, snugtop shell with opening side windows, 46g fuel tank, SDHQ sliders and hidden winch, Decked Drawers, Alcan leaf springs and got rid of the interior chrome
Damn, those are pricey! Here’s a solution that has worked well for me in the past..

was your tonneau up in the folded position when it flew off, or the closed flat state?

Wait a minute... are you saying the wheel well is open all the way to the tail lights (on the inside of the bed panel)? So the splash guard is the only protection for the tail lights - even though splash guards are typically just to protect lower rockers/panels. Or is the dealer just trying to dodge honoring warranty work?

Same question. This is the first report of this actually happening that I have seen here. Curious about what was loose or what failed. Especially since I will be on a road trip next week.

If you’re willing, buy an aftermarket on Alibaba. For the price, they are semi disposable.

I do t have any recommendations for taillights but I just replaced my OEM mudflaps with WeatherTech. The front ones were removed when I put my tires and lift on due to significant rubbing. I replaced all 4. The original ones are too flexible. The WeatherTech flaps are rigid and do away with the inside part of the front flaps where the rubbing occurs. They are a little wider on the inboard side compared to the stock ones. The set is $99.

Maybe urethane foam, hard to say without looking. It would be easy to remove it if need to gain access, plus it don't add weight.

    Lots of stuff!
What about all the trucks that don’t have rear mud flaps? This doesn’t make sense!

I wonder what removal of the front flaps will do? Does the floor fall out?

Removing the front mudflaps unlocks the 3rd turbo that’s behind a paywall.

$400ish per light from Sparks Toyota. Your dealer is smoking crack if they want $1000 each.
