Dealership employees fighting

I heard they were fighting about what are the largest tires they can run on a Gen 3.

That is like watching two Chihuahuas fighting over which of them gets to take on the pitbull. Car salesmen are little more than legalized thieves and would get their asses kicked if they had to do a days manual work, let alone pick a fight.

 

Does the size of a shit matter, it doesn't matter how much there is, it's still shit at the end of the day? I don't like attorneys either...

 

I heard the fight was over which color was faster. Of course we all know it's MGM.

If I didn’t see this crap at least once a week when I was working in the back at a large dealership…

They just do a better job of keeping it off the floor generally.

Kinda like working in food service or the service industry in general - when you are commissioned/tipped and success is largely determined not by any quantified metric but by how much you take home at the end of the week/pay/month - tempers gonna flare when someone thinks they got the short end of the stick. Doesn’t take much to set off the powder keg usually and in general it’s some of the stupidest/most bitchy reasons that start a “war”.

Seen a few highly paid babies get the boot over the dumbest shit - and seen some very good workers allowed to walk over ego too.

I did 5 months in the trenches at a local Nissan dealership as a salesman, its a brutal job, my first sales job, I’ll never do it again. Long hours, minimum wage pay, crap benefits, working weekends. I only brought home about $400 a week the entire time, even when I did sell a dozen cars in a month. I don’t know how people can do this long term.

 

Speaking of Kirkland oil, it's on sale which is rare.

 

I read the Glassdoor profile on that place - it's quite the hostile work environment.

 

This is the dealership I use to go to, for SC, Tundra and Celica parts. Also where I almost got myself a Supra.... Dude in the blue looks like the guy that was helping hang myself. lol

 

I can sympathize I felt like throwing chairs at the dealership last week.

 

Any dealership that allows this type of hostile and festering environment is crap. If I was the owner I would fire everyone involved. You cannot force people to get along but the way things are ran and management sure have a lot to do with it.

Well, if they must settle a dispute by fighting, at least they’re doing it by fist fighting. Maybe they should refrain from the chair throwing next time.
