Has anyone had success with any product or method of covering gas tank line & vent lines, E Vap lines from rodents? 2019 Tundra. I am having to replace entire gas tank as the line is connected to is built into tank. Poor design.

The shop I just got my truck back from suggested mothballs under the hood. I had never heard of that and thought it sounded crazy so I Youtubed it. Yup, apparently its a thing. Lots of Youtube videos also recommending peppermint oil. I personally haven't tried either method, but its on my to-do list.

Thanks, I've used both on the ground around our vehicles with some success. Currently in Florida and squirrels are the problem. I don't park in the same spot every day so treating the parking spot isn't an option. Looking for a product that can cover lines & wires. I'll be using the spray in the meantime.

I figure the odor from mothballs is strong enough to keep them away from your whole vehicle, even though you just put them somewhere under the hood. Again, haven't tried it yet so this just speculation on my part.

My mom swears by Fresh Cab Botanical Rodent Repellent. They are basically big tea bags with wood shavings and oil/fragrance. Not as obnoxious as moth balls, and seem to keep critters out of the tractors, quad and cars over the winter. Used em for 2 or 3 years now with good success.
