I love your buddies truck. Can you post a couple more photos? I might get the same setup. Nothing against your White...But I have a Lunar Rock coming for me so I am a little biased...

dont forget his is a F load rating, yours is only a E, its 10ply vs 12ply, and im sure his weighs like another 25% more, plus its a additional a inch wider of rubber on aftermarket rims so not exactly sure of his rim width either that would make the sidewall poke more/less

but yea looking at them back to back, your E rated tires look like SL next to his Fs

I like the rims a lot, but would love another angle maybe with more light if I was being picky. I might buy that exact setup. I’m stuck on either all black rims or bronze/black like pictured…can’t decide!

I don't have the exact setup, I got Black Rhino Rapids in bronze (18s) with 35s so the offset is a little different than the Methods. I'll snap some pics for you tomorrow or you can check out the few I have in my thread in the build section.

well after about 4hrs and a slight hiccup the wheels are finally on. only hiccup was that the 3 sets of hub centric rings didnt fit. they will be calling the oem to see about getting some. on to the pics.

1st pic : driver side view
2nd pic : passenger side view (i know redundant)
3rd pic : front view of poke
4th pic : rear view of poke
    5th pic : close up

these look more like orange with no sun, but they are more candy apple red in my opinion. wish they were a deeper red but these are the only wheels i can find that had the lowest amount of tint and in a decent design.

edit : forgot to add, wheel specs are in my sig

Truck looks great! The red is subtle enough but pops just the right amount.

yeah the distributor offered a 10% discount if i wanted to swapped to a different set of wheels, but i didnt budge. all the other options had to much red tinted areas compared to these. so we stuck it out and waited the 5 months for these to come in.

The hardest part was finding wheels with very little color. To much makes it ugly. Just enough to accent the blueprint and bring out the wheels.

Lol, right now I have tvd vinyl's in white. Trying to decide while or go red .

White for the red white and blue reference or go red to accent the wheels and pop the tundra embossed areas.

To all who asked. His bronze rims are 17x9 with 0 off set. I just like how his tires look compared to my setup and yes poke and tread have everything to do with it. His are Ridge Grapplers mine Discover AT3 XLT

question for you folks, does not having the hub centric rings affect anything in the short term if they are not installed? waiting for a reply from fuel that the 3 sets of rings they sent with the wheels do not fit and what is the solution from them.

you prolly missed my post, but his tire is on a whole another load range scale then yours, meaning its built with more tread plys, is even more beefier with a max psi of like 95+ instead of like regular 45psi tires etc

His tire also weighs like 25% more, you can see it on the sidewall and outer tread design..... dont understand what your actually trying to tell ppl here, tires have different looks for sure but you are not sharing the entire story and literally excluding the main details of the 2 diff load rated tires

I disagree with you tires are very similar in specs but not tread design. Ones a hybrid ones an AT but I think your making it more complicated then it needs to be.IMO
Max pressures are the exact same…?
The reason it’s heavier is because one is 10 ply one is 12 ply and he has more rubber on his tire from more width, thicker tread and heavier ply and .5 larger diameter it adds up.
    I’m not telling anyone anything.

I like the look of his tire more then mine. Dimensions are very similar minus width. LOAD ratings E and F and load ratings are very close to the same as u can see.
I was just making a simple observation of the look I like. If I put a 295/70/18 Ridge grappler on my truck it would look completely diff even though it’s the exact same dimensions of the Discover 295/70/18 keeping it simple. Thanks for asking.
