LED illuminated grill emblem

Has anyone installed one of these? The wiring instructions are terrible, it’s supposed to illuminate when the headlights come on. I didn’t want to tap into the headlight harness, it shows connecting to the negative battery Terminal and somewhere in the fuse box.

If anyone could help with the wiring connection so it comes on with the headlights and is tied into the fuse box that would be great!

Is it a good idea to power it off of one of the fuses in the fuse box?

 

Hopefully you don't have a 2018+, because you would have to relocate the TSS sensor.

Hook it up like this....

Install t-tap onto a 12V power wire (parking light wire is a good option) or if you want the lights on all the time you could utilize and add a circuit and tap into the fuse box to a keyed on circuit, or t-tap into any keyed on 12v power wire.

I've seen the different sizes, but I am unsure of the measurements. I don't know exactly how they measure an emblem like that. I figured that businesses would just make it easy and list the sizes with the year and model if vehicle, but none that I have found has done so.
