Looking for recommendations on a good set of running boards for the 2020 crewmax newbe here

New member just purchased a 2020 crewmax and looking for recommendations for running boards that look great and are affordable. Thanks

 

Welcome to the circus newbie. Your ask is vague and both parts of the question are very subjective.

I'd refine it by giving some parameters.
1. look (tube, flat, black, chrome, etc)
and
2. Budget (250-500, 500-1k, etc)

APS iBoard on Amazon are affordable and effective but I get teased by my coworkers for the dad-style looks.

 

AMP research power running boards. Love mine (not cheap, but get clearance for off roading & a step when need it ).

 

I have the APS iBoards, cheap, lightweight, aluminum (no rust issues). And I'm a dad, so dad-style is fine with me.

 

Had N-Fabs on my truck. Still looked great after 5 years. Just put the Amp power step extremes on yesterday. Love them

 

Have the Amp Powersteps for 6 years. Would I get them again? Not sure. Winters in northern NYS are hard on them.. Already replaced drivers side motor, controller module, both under warranty, step end caps.. Now out of warranty.

 

Go rhino rb20. It also doubles as a platform for my sons hot wheels

 

The Predator aluminum tube take offs would be nice and affordable. I haven’t looked much since I sold mine, but I think you could find a set in the $400 range, perhaps less.

 

Recently installed RB20 GoRhino and they are made well, sturdy, and I think they look good. I received a bit over $200 bucks off with promo code.

 

Have black Iboards on a '20 crewmax. They were less than $250 shipped.

The kids like them, and they stick out far enough that some car doors will hit them before touching the paint.
