    Hello all

I currently have a 2019 Crewmax TRD Off-Road with stock tires and wheels. My first question is, can I run 17" wheels, and if so will Black Rhino's fit? Second, If I add BFG KO2 35x12.5 tires will they rub with either 17" or 18" wheels? Lastly, what offset would you recommend? (I live in the state of Chicago, I know I know, and have no clue as to the laws surrounding how far tires can extend past the edge of the fender flare.)

I intend on adding a 2.5-3" lift and CBI bumpers hoping to eliminate any rubbing issues I do encounter.

17 or 18 will work fine. Width is usually 8.5 or 9”. If you don’t want much poke, shoot for +25 to +35mm offset.

35’s will fit fine with a 3” lift and a little massaging. Bumper clearance should be good with the CBI. You may need to rework the mudflaps and skid plate a tad. Easy stuff.

Awesome thanks. I'm going to try and one-shot this whole thing and get the suspension, bumpers, and wheels/tires all at the same time. I've never been much of a car guy but with a new family, I'd like to get into camping, hiking, and going to see our national sites. So building up an overlanding rig seems like the thing to do.

Here’s what a tundra with about a 3inch front lift looks like with nothing in the back 17x9 +25 offset and 315/70r17 minimal trimming. The first pic is before kings and second is after. For what’s ifs with kings ride 1000x better than a spacer liftB9B93DA0-806D-4CD3-A930-79EBB7F7CE07.jpgF16CC0B7-55A1-4C98-9F3A-221069DCF6E1.jpg
