Getting my TRD lift installed on my truck and the dealer gave me a 2023 4Runner to use. Since it's only temporary, I didn't go through the hassle of connecting my phone via bluetooth. All I did was plug my phone to the USB charger. Then everything on my phone was on the infotainment screen. Got a text message and the little lady read the message loud and clear. The music lowered and there were no issues hearing her voice. Don't know what the difference is but I wish it worked that way in my truck. When I get my truck back, I'll connect my phone via USB and see if that makes a difference.
