Sorry for all my Qs and concerns... I Know the organizers are on top of it all.... It is just the Boy Scout Leader in me. (subconscious, er conscious, need to double check and verify)

 

Nope. This event has been happening several years. Organizers will post up The Plan a few days before, and open trails and camp will accommodate our 4x4 trucks. And, as posted, we'll have a ton of ropes and straps just in case, so we can do a quick rescue instead of tearing up trails or trucks.

 

Has the camping ever been anyplace other than Munds Park?

 

I may have a truck or two to add to your team.

I'm not allowed out of 1st gen land. I get banned everytime I go out there.

I'm not too worried about it. I know a lot of work and preparation is going into this and the people going will be respectful of the land. We'll have a good time even if it's muddy. If nothing else, it will be one to remember. My only hope is that we can still explore some of the best trails.

Rivnuts welded to frame for skids to bolt to
Transmission fluid drained and filled
Transfer case drained and filled
Front and rear diffs drained and filled
Rear brakes rebuilt
Coolant topped off
Oil changed
UCA bushings re-greased


This rig is more prepared than it's ever been. I wish I had the snorkel installed and some big brakes and 17's on 35's, but she'll do

Realistically if T2S were cancelled, I'd still drive up to Beau's and check out Palo Duro Canyon. Then cruz over to Roswell, NM for some touristy alien shit and legal weed.
