Doubtful, fedex just got their grimey meathooks on it this afternoon. Ground from WA. I'll be happy with the expected date tho.

I'm still waiting on Skid Row to ship my new transmission skid. Oh well the old bowed one will be fine for now.

I had the new one ship to my buddies off road fab shop for reinforcement. Fingers crossed I'll never have to buy another skid for this truck again.

So while I was chasing my horrid suspension squeak I pulled the coilovers to rule them out. Took the opportunity to check up travel on the new bump stops. I might be stopping when my tires run into the body, lol. My arms want to travel more than the rest of the setup. #sonofabitch

I had duro bumps front and rear (on the front). Blew them up. I had them spaced at 1" and 1/2". Duro bump said I installed them wrong because of the spacers, lol. So I now have Timbren Active road front and Timbren SES rear (the snow plow add spring rate huge m fers). I don't think there is bigger than the SES. So I might space the Actives by 3/8 - 1/2". I had the tire off, but the hub was way up there. I'll check it again when I have the coilovers off and tire on.

I can't do anything near what that truck does, but I've had all four off the ground a few times. I'm trimmed to almost the point of bind on my ball joints, so yeah, taller would be great but I'm at max for this suspension, so I just need to lock it down a bit. IFS only goes so far without going LT, I do need to trim my spindle gussets though. They find the shock tower just a tad.

As you can see, this is not race suspension, I’m just doing everything I can to get everything I can from it. When I rebuild the shocks, that will likely be the biggest improvement. I’ll have them tuned for for how I like to drive. And my forward weight. Until then……

I will be rebuilding. I bought a brand new ARB case. Specifically an ARB RD129 locking differential case. I’ll swap the guts (side/spider gears and the few parts of the locking mechanism) and ring gear from the busted one. I was fortunate nothing else was damaged. Just the case

So now that you’ve had the solo lower arms for a minute, do you think they’re much of an improvement over stock or nah?

I would do it again. They do have more space between the frame/bumps than stock, so that keeps me busy because the more you change, the less the standard bolt in stuff fits the same. That’s why I had the older bumps so spaced. And then changing tire sizes, it’s a rabbit hole. I would say don’t do it if you want to install and forget it. I’ve modified those solos, ran 4 types of grease though them, and think I have them worked out, but it’s not easy. And any removal for anything requires backing of the steering rack and an alignment. So prepare to work. But they are tough and I like that.

Tire wear. The bumper doesn’t touch anything. I do have plans to mod it for aesthetics, but probably not before T2S. I had a great flow until I took 1.5” off the tops of my fenders. .75” on the sides.
