Everyone is entitled to an opinion, even if it's wrong. Maybe one day the fog will lift and people will be converted from their evil ways

I'm just being a smart-ass, purposely giving an extremely opinionated hot take trying to :stirthepot: Truth is while I prefer android, iPhones have a lot going for them as well. The irrational hot take is more fun though :D

this custodial supervisor got me today; my hair is a mess, I look like a homeless person that found a uniform on the street: as we were leaving her office, she’s like is it windy outside?(and looked at me) I’m like naw it’s not that bad….. and then I’m like hey!!!!! I told her you can’t control curly hair, it just doesn’t happen.

    PGA better watch their $HIT...

We were in Winter Garden Visiting Baby sister and those LIV folks are "Playing with very DEEP pockets"; landing expensive Helicopters onto Greens

will always attract :eek2::D But then a 4 million $$$ winners payday ..

Organized throughout the whole thing with the players & the crowds :hattip::hattip::hattip:

The best part of it was they didn't even interfere with the Artist/Farmers market event we went too not 15 minutes away...unlike PGA being in and

So every year as a kid I was allowed a Mohawk, usually it was summer time.
When I became driving age, it was nice having a sun roof for my liberty spikes!

I had a mohawk this past year. It actually didn't look bad, but I'm not quick enough on shaving my head to maintain it.

My mom never would have allowed a hawk. She just about laid an egg when i got a buzz cut once in little league. When my kid said he wanted a hawk, I didn't hesitate to hook him up.

He went to grade school once with it pink on one side, green on the other and a solid 6" tall.

He's had a legit mullet a couple times to. Mostly during football or lacrosse.

As long as we're on hair stories, I wanted to be a werewolf for Halloween once. My mom was running late from work, so she rushed me to the toilet and puts a bunch of mousse in her hands and starts trying to spike my hair. It smelt awful. Then she asks me if my hair always comes out in clumps. Looks at the mousse, realized it was a bottle of nair a coworker gave her.

I looked like a cancer kid for the next month, and refused to get a haircut. Everyone kept coming up to her all sympathetic. Apparently I worked it for all it was worth.

When I woke up today I saw I missed a call from a buddy. Called him back and he said he was going to have to start my day with some bad news. I cringed a bit and asked what was wrong. This is the friend who was shot in the leg a couple thanksgivings ago, had a chunk of his stomach removed, has been struggling with marriage issues, and his wife had a seizure while driving a month ago and totaled their Jeep, so I was bracing for some crap news. He told me a former friend of mine committed suicide last night. I don't know any particulars or anything because, like I said, former friend. Still a sorry situation for his family.

I think I'm getting calloused toward this kind of thing, though. My honest reaction was "oh, well that sucks... Not much else I can say about it. How's other stuff going for you?" I was actually relieved he wasn't telling me he was getting a divorce, or that his new truck had been hit and run, or that he crashed his motorcycle that he got today. How awful a person am I?

You're not a bad person, I have become calloused in the same way. Like if I heard a coworker in a different department passed away it wouldn't really affect me. I would of course feel bad for their family and friends and anyone who is affected but it wouldn't actually affect me in any meaningful way besides maybe making me reflect on how life can be over at any moment.

Does Bass Pro shops still do those absolutely insane loans on their boats? I used to laugh really hard when I would see the sign that advertised like $94 a month for 30 years

If this were just a coworker I would think the same. It's happened before, actually. This guy was, at one point, a close friend.
