Been sitting on 2 yards of APA Lunar Rock film to wrap the 'stache but don't really want to remove the bumper.

In all my youtube sleuthing and research I can't find a single video of someone actually applying the wrap (either with the'stache removed or on the truck). Most of the videos are of professional shops showing before and after.

Guessing the reason there are no videos of wrapping it without removing it is because it would be too difficult to cleanly cut the edges.

    Has anyone attempted this?

take the piece off, if you ever wrapped you will want the piece to able to be manipulated in your hand, having it stuck on a 2ton truck is not ideal - especially since you cant tuck wrap the edges and will need to cut

also watch the remove bumper vids, there are like 20+, because its very easy to do. no special tools

Yeah. Checking it out again last night the area where it meets the black grill would be almost impossible to get to.

I just need to set a day aside and do it.

While I didn't get a colored wrap, I got PPF on the entire "mustache" from top to bottom. They did not remove anything from my truck and the wrap is clean, edge to edge and all bends. I chalk this up to experience and competency. Some installers are capable and proficient, some are not. It reminds me of the saying "I know a guy who can do it cheaper."

Going to give the BumperShell overlay a go. I don't see me actually finding the time or patience to DIY a full bumper removal and wrap.....
