    Any recommendations on a non budget breaking reliable 2-2.5 inch leveling kit for a 2019 limited 4x4. And which would you rather a 2 or 2.5

    Personally I skipped the spacer lift and found a set of TRD Yellow Bilsteins off CL and put on a set of Eibach 2.5 inch lift coils.

    Can't speak for offroading - but I went with a Mammoth 2" Spacer level.

    Same ride quality as factory. I personally would not be afraid to take it down logging roads or very mild offroad, but would not put it through any significant articulation or crawling. My truck's pretty much a pavement princess and sees occasional trails that I mention above and pretty harsh construction jobsites during the earthwork phases. No issues, but only about 2000 miles on it so far.

    And here's a picture of how it sits...keep in mind I have RAS in the rear, so there is still about a 1" rake. Also have 275/70R18 Kenda Klevers on there.

    Gotcha. Thank you all for the responses! Also this may be a pretty newb question but if I get new tires should I keep my 20inch rims or just sell them ?

    Depends on what you like and or need. More tire sidewall (17 or 18" wheel) allow for more comfortable rides and are probably better off-road if youre not gonna put a 35" tire or greater on the truck. 20" wheels with shorter profile tires will give you more responsive handling on the highway (all other things being equal).

    People report a smoother ride with the Eibach lift vs 5100s. The cheaper Eibach shocks are spec'd for 2.5" lift though, which is a little too much. So you'd have to spring for the nicer set... which is adjustable. https://eibach.com/us/2209/E86-82-067-01-22-TOYOTA-Tundra-pro-truck-coilover-stage-2

    People report it costing $600 labor to have front shocks replaced, so it isn't going to be very cheap regardless. Spacers would be the least expensive way to go, but the labor is still high... maybe a little less?

    For your use, 20" rims are fine. Taller sidewalls do not ride smoother, rather what they give you is more tire-travel before you ding the rim. You could move up to an inch taller with 275/60r20 and there are still plenty of street tires in that size.

    If I was after "smooth everyday highway driving", and wanted the truck to perform well and be level... I'd drop the rear instead of raising the front. It would be cheaper, too.

    Had 2 friends that went with the 5100's and the ride did change but in their opinion not for the better. Did the 2.5 lift kit in mine and other than higher and level ride is the same as before.

    Good point on the labor costs - I had spacers installed during tires, so they knocked a few bucks off, but still $400...plus alignment...$200, so min $600 install likely.

    I haven't been able to find reports by anyone just lowering the rear 1.5-2"... which seems a little crazy to me. This is by far more sensible for someone who wants a level with good street performance. Lowering kits exist, but they are typically -2" front and -4" rear.

    Might need to get a new custom mini spring pack to do it right, and ditch the overload. You'd want to soften the rear as well as lower it.

    Note about all the recommendations for 5100s; over half the lift on the middle setting will come from higher spring preload, which will make them firmer. Also, they have higher damping and digressive damping compared to stock, which will make them firmer yet. The Limited has the black shocks, right? These are very soft with almost no compression damping.

    I like firm digressive shocks a lot, but you definitely feel small bumps. If you want a stock ride, spacers are the best way to achieve that. Just make sure you extend the bumpstops or better yet get new ones. I use these. Get some 10x1.25x30mm bolts to install them.
