Recently noticed my truck's transmission started to slip and overheat and had the opportunity to buy a low-mile 02 sequoia trans and t-case for a really good deal from my relatives.

Was wondering is there any way I could swap the sequoia trans + t-case into my tundra? Or is it not worth it and just swap in a replacement? Find it cool to have a manual t case, love my gx470 with it

I've checked both transmission codes from both trucks and they are both A340F's. Both have matching rear ends (4.10's) but was wondering if the t cases are different and if I would have to totally redo the wiring for the 2wd and 4wd since my truck has the 2wd/4wd and the 4low selector instead of the sequoia 4wd drive selector. And anything else I would have to change

Really haven't looked into this kind of swap so I was wondering if it's something people have done before.

SOrry can't help, but the Sequoia T case is AWD so probably some wiring to figure out.
