I want to put OEM cats on my truck, problem is it’s taking forever to come. I heard tundras are popular for catalytic converters thieves and this causing them to be on backorder. I’ve been checking on different online genuine websites like sparkparts and McGeorge Toyota parts and they said they currently aren’t available. Some websites have the price of both exhaust pipes and the other things that come with it. I’m trying to figure out if it’s available in certain areas/states.

Honestly at this point, I would just do without cats if you live somewhere without inspections/emissions testing. They serve no purpose as far as vehicle functionality.

Update: it took awhile but I finally got them the other week thanks to Olathe Toyota parts center. They’re on backorder but it’s not taking as long as it used to. Truck accelerates a whole lot better. Those old cats were clogged and hurting my mpgs.
