I’m gonna head to the dealership I bought the truck at. If they won’t help me I’m gonna take it to Toyota. I talked to a service advisor today and he said sometimes they don’t cover the service bulletin costs which is surprising. So I’m gonna make sure I get this taken care of before I hit 80k.

@nikatnite79 Take a close look at the TSB in my post (#24). In the Applicability section under "Additional information"...those 5 digits should correspond to the affected VIN number of vehicle this TSB covers. I thought it was the last 5 digits, but I may be wrong. Grab your VIN and check to see if there's a match. I had to take this copy to my local dealer and still had to put up a bit of an argument to get them to cover it. They kept saying "there are no recalls for you vehicle". And I kept telling them "this isn't a recall, it's a Technical Service Bulletin". I believe the difference is, that when there's a recall, all affected vehicles get the "fix", but with a TSB, only if you are experiencing the specific malfunction, will they do the repairs.

Just checked the Vin and it’s not even close to any of these numbers. Damnit!

If you don't find anything else, I'd take it in to Toyota anyways. Possible they've added more vehicles to this since it was first introduced? I just checked my VIN and it was the 4th thru 8th digits that matched this TSB. Either way, I hope you get this resolved.

I appreciate everyone’s reply. I will keep you guys posted on what happens. I’m going to call Toyota now to schedule an appointment.

So I just picked my truck back up and yes it is the fuel pump and yes Toyota is gonna cover it under the TSB. Best thing that’s happened all week lol. They said the part is a week out. Thank you all so much.
