Got my radar detector up and running thanks to this forum. I already had a blendmount and mirror tap from my f150 limited and everything swapped over without issue.

I also used a full bottle of leather ceramic coating on the interior, with 6 to 7 coatings on the white portions. Fingers crossed for some additional resistance to stains or smudges down the road.

New Capstone owner too. I can see your doesn't have the factory dash cam. I thought that was standard on all Capstone's. I was told Cap's had all options. Guess that was wrong. You'll love the truck.

That's a $499 option per toyota.com. The only thing that bothers me so far is the fact that text message readouts don't turn the music volume down or come through all the speakers. Coming from a F150 Limited, so there will be a couple things that aren't as good... no massaging seats and the stereo doesn't sound as nice, but this thing is much faster and sounds better in WOT.

How do you like the dash cam? Planning on a OEM camera right after I get my windshield replaced.

Cam works fine. Seems a bit big for a dash cam. I think there are better options on the market for that price range.

Congrats. I'm 3 months into my capstone and have only 1500 miles in it. Cool ride for sure. Mine rides rougher than my Ram 2500 I traded in. Maybe the TSB will help this. I find I drive in town in "TOW" mode to bypass the engine start/stop.

When you get the intake make sure to check for the pcv valve fittings. Mine didn’t have it when I got it last week and had to remove and reinstall stock after an hour and a half of work.

Will do,so are you all set now?
I would imagine mine will arrive before the truck so plenty of room to iron out any issues and thanks for the heads up.

I returned it as I didn’t feel like reinstalling it again and dealing with the dealerships nonsense about mods
