So I have a recently purchased 2021 Tundra 1794. I haul a boat and trailer occasionally. while backing that boat trailer the RCTA ( I assume its that one) constantly beeping at me. I have my trailer connected to the 7 pin round plug and everything works like it should.
I never received an alert that there was a trailer connected or anything and towed in tow/haul mode. How do I go about adding the trailer to the truck, if possible? or how to disable the RCTA?
Ive looked through the manual but wasnt much help.

Your boat probably has surge brakes. The truck is not seeing any electric brakes to control, so it’s not adding the trailer to the trailer brake control system. Push the P button above the brake controller on the left to disable the park sensor function.

So looking at my connections, the boat has a flat 4 pin that i connected to the 7 pin round plug via adapter....would this be a reason for truck not to recognize trailer attached or is it not recognizing because of no trailer brakes?
