Hey guys, I started my truck today and I have a 4HI light flashing on my 08 Tundra. I found the YouTube video on the actuator motor removal and all is well in that department. I put the motor on a 2 amp battery charger and it spins freely. However, when plugged into the wiring harness on the truck, and turning on the power accessories I get no noise or power through the motor.

It appears to be upstream of this…

anyone know which fuses to check? Is it common to have to replace the 4x4 switch itself? Lots of snow and winter hitting us and I need 4x4. Help!!

I'm going through something similar seems to only be a problem when it's cold. Like 25 and under. It's driving me insane. I'll let you know if I figure anything out. You as well please!

ADD motor. Less than an hour to swap out. Fixed.

I pulled that motor and bench tested it then tried the 4x4 switch with the motor connected and case open….it’s not getting power. Grrr. No fuses blown….
