Make sure you ask for a printout of the alignment when the redo it. Lots of shops wont bother and just turn both sides the same amount. Works but you could have a toe adjustment that's not correct. Dont ask me how I know this.

I know this thread is old but I recently had new tires put on and truck aligned and it also is just a tiny bit off center also like yours…..I was wondering if you ever noticed any uneven tire wear from the tiny bit your steering wheel was off ?

    Too many, but not enough....
Some shops do this to compensate for road crown but if you're alignment is done properly it has nothing to do with tire wear. I hate when my steering wheel is off center too

Yes, very old thread. I'm now driving a 2023 Jeep Gladiator Mojave. The Tundra was 3 trucks ago, lol. To answer your question, I never noticed any uneven tire wear but the truck was sold with only 18,000 miles on it.

Did the fact that your steering wheel was still off center just a little bit after the 2nd try ever affect your tires and did you notice any uneven wear or anything?

I appreciate any info as my steering wheel is just slightly off center also after new tires installed and an alignment.

I was told that as long as truck travels straight on flat road that it is aligned properly and the steering wheel being a little off will not affect tires wearing unevenly.

@WhistlingPete72 No, alignment was perfect. In fact, I got 78,000 miles out of that set of tires (Cooper AT3 XLT).
