Hi I was wondering if anyone swapped out their oem muffler for a flowmaster 40 series ? I had one on my 2nd gen 4.0 Tacoma and it sounded pretty good for a v6, I was thinking about doing the same on my tundra.

If you think it sounded good on your 4.0 Tacoma, you’re the kinda guy that will probably think it sounds good on your new truck too. Those turbos and smaller displacement may not give you the same effect though.

Yeah, i understand it will never sound like a v8 but I’m looking for something, but also not as loud as the carven exhaust they have out for this truck

40 series Flowmaster is on the louder side. 50 series or Delta flow or American Thunder or whatever they call the next step now is a bit milder.
