I had a Tacoma, and loved it for daily driving. However, I bought a camper last year and the Tacoma struggled towing it. So I traded in the Tacoma and got me a 2018 Platinum Tundra. Couldn't say no to the blue and she drives nice! Now I am making a list of improvements, both need and wants.

She needs a bed liner, tonneau cover, storage (since she doesn't have storage like the Tacoma), and towing mirrors to start.

    Let the fun begin!

    Blazing blue!!! :headbang:

Welcome from Fort Worth as well!

I have a Bakflip tri-fold that has seen some abuse (hail storm from 2 years ago) but it still functions as it should. I'd part with it for cheap and with you being local, we could just meet to avoid any shipping issues on either end. If interested, I can message you pictures and more info. I really liked it, unless my bed was completely full and the cover had to be all the way open. It covers the back window which bothered me some. Plus I wanted to get the bars to carry kayaks, so I ended up with a Retrax.

Nice truck! I’m a Tacoma owner looking for a Tundra, but I like the 2.5 Gen (2014-2017). Slim pickings out there in this market!

2.5 gen is 2014 to 2021. 2014-2017 don't have the sensor in the grille but its still considered a 2.5gen

Minnesota, dealers up here are importing from Canada and buying up East Coast lease trucks because that's all they can find. I'm an expat from Cali though, I'd fly and drive for the right truck.

Thanks RobertD! I had been looking for a good Tundra, and just couldn't say no the the Blazing Blue! I am pricing all the mods I want with new items. I plan on keeping this truck, so want to set it up accordingly from the get go. I'll let you know if anything changes!

Completely understand. Depending on what you are buying, hit up @memario1214. He is a trusted vendor and his company sells almost anything you will need. He is great to work with, good prices, and it ships fast.

I went from a Tacoma, loved it, but I needed extra cab space and bed space.
    Congrats!

Welcome from Indiana. Mine is a 2018 platinum too. I recommend the bakflip mx4. It has always kept my stuff dry on long trips from indiana to Florida. I got the console organizer that’s recommended on here and I also suggest you look at the ESP under seat organizer as well.

Thanks! I have already ordered the BAK Flip MX4, and will likely get the ESP under seat storage too. The other item I ordered was a Bedrug since my Tundra doesn't have any bed liner. I expect I will be installing the Bedrug and MX4 this weekend if they all come in this week.
