Any TRD Pro owners have a rear end clunk over small bumps?

Over the last couple months my 23 Pro developed a clunk over small bumps. Thought it might be the bed, or tailgate, but I’ve been able to pinpoint the clunk to the top of the Fox shocks.

I can duplicate the clunk by standing on bumper and bouncing. With the help of my son, I was able to pinpoint the clunk by sound, then by feel. If I place my thumb and finger on the top shock threads and rubber isolators, I can feel the clunk. Not sure if it’s internal or shaft hitting the mount, but it’s strong. Can hardly feel it at the bottom of shock, only top. This can be felt on both sides.

Not sure if tightening the nut would help or if this is a shock issue. Anyone else noticed this?

    Too many, but not enough....
Try hitting it with a torque wrench. The manual usually has tightening chassis hardware as a regular maintenance item. Don't know what the torque spec is but guessing around 30 ft lbs

No, just a single clunk. Seems to be on shock rebound.

If mine was like the video, I’d have already been to the dealer. Wouldn’t be able to tolerate that.

Well I been to the dealer 3 times And they can’t hear it, the problem is that they only test drive it around the block and it’s pretty smooth road.

i also noticed is louder when cold temperatures like <50° and is not as loud or as often when 50°>.

Have you tried bouncing on bumper to reproduce? Guess I’m fortunate to be able to easily reproduce mine, maybe the dealer won’t be able to say they can’t hear it.

    Hope they eventually fix yours.
