2003 Tundra TRD

I have a 2003 access cab and have been looking at sub options like the q logic box and some other installs i have seen on here. Has anyone considered cutting your mdf to the same dimension as the storage bin lid and then fleecing and fiberglassing the metal frame for the storage compartment. I suppose you could fiberglass the floor as well or possibly caulk the seam. Any thoughts or other installs for inspiration?
