Get a grip. Someone wanted the story so I gave it. You don’t know my financial situation. All I was here to talk about was the fact I love this new truck and wanted some recommendations on seat covers. Yikes

Come on man! He took a couple thousand hit to go from a good Tundra to a great Tundra. He's not in a 68K F150 XLT that are now commonplace.

Pretty rude to judge someone else's situation based on limited information. OP obviously made this thread to have fun and find support on his new to him truck. As you stated, "the exact reason" there are problems with society in everyone having to have their snarky opinion to negatively judge others when, in fact, they should keep to themselves. When you have to start a post with "Sorry", there's a problem. Not here to fight/argue, but I can recognize shoddy company.

Unless the OP has trouble defining what a women is then he is not what is wrong with society nor is he what's wrong with the economy. The economy is being tanked by people that fly around in privet jets and polyticks that think the best way to stay in office after they forced everyone to stay locked up in their houses for over a year is to hand out free checks and forgive rent payments. These are the same politicians that think sending tax payers money by the billions over seas to fund a war with Russia is a good Idea.

Polyticks- poly from the Greek word poly meaning many and ticks- meaning blood sucking parasites

Go for the Katzins. The leather feels better than the Toyota leather in my pro and DIY isn’t that bad.

This is definitely high on my list of future mods & upgrades for my 2019 SR5. I'm holding off for right now only because I have been spending a lot of money recently and I need to slow down before I spend myself right into the poor house. Between the front bumper, rear step, tool box, head ache rack and the high end custom sound system that I am currently installing coupled with the fact I paid cash for the truck out of my retirement savings, I'm starting to realize that if I ever plan on being able to retire I need to be putting money IN TO my savings and not taking it out. Anyways before I can justify spending money on leather seats I will need to put new tires and brakes on the truck first. I will be needing both by summer time.

I ended up buying the 19 I was looking at. Loving it so far! I didn’t realize all the little things that were put into the Tundras post 2017. I really like the updated instrument cluster and the BSM and parking sensors. One thing I really like is that the female seatbelt receiver in the back seat where my daughter sits is rigid, so when I go to buckle her in now the seatbelt receiver doesn’t get buried under the seats lol. It’s the little things in life haha.

So you pulled the trigger. Congrats. So how many miles where on it? What kind of condition is it in? Got pics? Post them up if you do so we can all admire it.

I've had mine now for about 9 or 10 months and so far I have no regrets. There are a few things that I wish Toyota had done differently but over all I am very happy with mine. My biggest gripes would have to be less plastic in the front of the truck and thicker gage steal used for the front fenders and hood. That's if they are even made of steal. They might be made of aluminum judging by how they feel. There where three modifications that I made right after I bought the truck. They where, add the head ache rack, add a tool box and replace that plastic front bumper with a steel one. The first two where so I could use the truck for work but replacing the front bumper was purely to purge some of the plastic from the front of the truck. I am much happier with the steel front bumper. What makes it even nicer are the LED lights installed in the bumper. They really light things up.

This is my first Tundra so I can't attest to the changes with in the interior but I can comment on things I like about my trucks interior. The fact that the Crew Max interior is about the size of a studio apartment is really really nice and comfortable. It's funny that this truck has more cabbin space then my old 1996 ford explorer SUV but trying to situate all of the components of my current custom stereo installation has proven to be a challenge. There are very few places that one can use to stow away the nessecery components of a high quality sound system in that truck. You really have to be creative. Once I am done with it I will start a build thread here so people can use what I have done as a templet for their own installs. I already have a build thread running over at DIYAUDIO.COM but I think a build thread here might get a bit more traction and prove to be a bit more useful. So expect that in the coming days or go over there to the car audio forum and search for "my tundra is getting a new sound system" if you can't wait.

It had 75k on the odometer. 1 owner who kept it clean.

I don’t wanna high jack the OP’s thread, so here’s mine if you wanna take a look.
