Anything east of the Mississippi is "east coast" to me. Wait, that doesn't account for north. Fine. Anything east of I-65

Call me a basic bitch if you'd like, but I wouldn't be mad if a couple cases of Yuengling were to show up...

It's only on my list because I can't get it here lol. I'm planning on loading up on some cans and growlers from local breweries to share around.

Don't bother, it's nasty. I had wanted to try it for a long time so when we went to the base in DC to visit my son I picked up a 6 pack.
We both hated it and it got left in the hotel mini fridge for whoever got the room next.

It's a cheap mass produced beer but it's no worse than any other such as Miller, Coors or Bud. None of those are "good" beer. They are just a means for getting drunk.

I like hazy IPA's if I'm drinking good beer.

The hazies I'm drinking are usually 2-3 tallboys away from me being pretty buzzed. I can drink a whole 6-pack of pisswater mainstream domestic beers or 9-12 of the Lite beers in the same timeframe and barely feel moved.

You'll get drunk alot quicker drinking IPA's than miller, coors, bud, or any other garbage in a can. Notice I didn't capitalize those 3. It was intentional. Boom. I've gotta be pretty damn parched to subject myself to such rubbish, and it's gotta be ice cold.

But you’ll be in a desert climate at elevation - hydration is key, and so I’ll be drinking a coors in between each good beer to stay on top of it

Very good point. Beer snobs tend to forget the advantages of domestic light beer for situations such as doing yard work, working on vehicles, avoiding the wife in the garage, and especially camping. In these situations you need to be able to start drinking early in the day and continue, often consuming upwards of 20 or so beers.
Doing so with "real" beers often ends up badly with embarrassing side effects, such as falling down, passing out too early, telling the family to fuck off, trying to screw your hot neighbor or a family pet, etc.
Therefore, do not underestimate the worth of good old cheap American beer. :oldglory:
