I have a 21 Tundra dbl cab with 3.5 inch lift on 35" Nitto Grapplers and want to upgrade the suspension without losing the lift (if possible). I'm also carrying a Four Wheel Camper (shell model) on the back, so will be upgrading leaf springs to accommodate the extra weight. I want some good shocks that will fit the build and allow for better on/off road travel. Don't plan on rock crawling, but do like to get to remote spots and don't want to be limited.

Would love some input on these shocks, or others, for this build. I was going to go OME, but they only do a 2.5" lift and I don't like the look of dropping an entire inch. Any ideas?

    Thank you!

OME shocks can only be rebuilt by ARB. Fox shocks can be rebuilt by most off-road shops..

    just food for thought

I didn't realize that, and is definitely some food for thought. Thank you.

I'm following along, I have a 2011 DC with a FWC. I was looking at suspension upgrades with clicker adjustments for my lift plans this year. I'm looking at Rough Country Vertex Remote Res, Icon CDCV Remote Res, and Fox Race 2.5 Remote Res. I'm curious to hear what others have to say.

Fox 2.5 DSC (in stock) would be a great choice if you want to invest in a quality set of shocks, that can be custom tuned for your ride. It's very difficult to shoot for a specific lift height, since most of these shocks are designed around limitations the front end has. In short, hard to guarantee a specific lift height while also getting a quality ride you paid for. Fox only has 1 rear lift height option 0-1.5", so that will be tough to match up to a replacement leaf pack. If the new rear leaf pack is mostly maintaining stock height with extra weight, it could work just fine.
